The History & Heritage

Sheth Hutheesing and his wife Harkunwar Shethani were philanthropic tradespeople of Ahmedabad. They founded this Derasar (a Jain temple) in 1847 which houses Moolnayak Shri Dharmanath Bhagawan. The architecture and sculptures of this temple are praised worldwide. It is managed by Sheth Hutheesing Kesarising Trust which organizes various religious and cultural activities throughout the year.
